Snowsports Portugal

Snowsports Portugal - APS (Portuguese Snowsports Association) is a Nonprofit Sports Organization aimed at Ski & Snowboard lovers of all ages.

Founded in 2021 by snow sports enthusiasts and industry professionals with extensive experience in snow sports technical and leisure areas, the organization aims to inspire Snowsport participation and bring together all those who have a common interest and passion for snow sports.

The target audience includes those with curiosity and interest in the technical or competitive part of these sports, while committed to inspire and facilitate Snowsport participation in general, covering an existing gap in the country.

The organization aims to:

• Lead and support development of Ski and Snowboard as sports in Portugal;
• Inspire and facilitate Snowsports participation in general through the development programs, services and products related to these sports;
• Promote and communicate the benefits of a healthy lifestyle associated with snow sports.

In addition to the technical-sports aspect, APS also has social and playful / leisure objectives, which include developing and providing programs, activities, and services of general interest to its members - snow enthusiasts.

Who do we serve

The organization serves snow sports enthusiasts, regardless of age. We consider 4 groups:

• Fans of skiing and snowboarding: regular participants in Snowsports with interest in the technical/competition areas of Snowsport.
• Snow enthusiasts interested in having their children participate and practice these sports on a regular and structured basis.
• Young people of different ages, where they can be part of a community with similar goals and interests.
• Snow enthusiasts who seek to participate and improve their skills in snow sports.
